My favorite feature is the one we didn’t need to build

I am a mere mortal, and yet to my family and friends, I am a tech god. I fix problems with a user-first mentality, but first, let’s try turning it off and on again.

I built my career working in systems most people would describe as “too complicated”— financial services (Paymentus), education technology (O’Reilly Media), healthcare technology (Compass Group), APIs, developer platforms, and enterprise software (Kong Inc).

I partner with product, engineering, and business teams to resolve difficult problems, identify what actually matters, and create experiences that feel obvious to the people using them.

I’ve helped teams make better decisions, sharpen their design thinking, and deliver products that create measurable business outcomes.

I’ve also mentored and guided individuals and teams to grow their knowledge of and competency in design while delivering desirable business outcomes through strategic design initiatives.
